Wine Bottle Art ornaments are made in different styles using different techniques:
- Mini: Our mini ornaments are made from the bottoms of clear beer bottles. The bottoms of the bottles are removed, flattened in a kiln, drilled to make a hole, and then hand painted with a unique design. Each ornament is finished with a beaded hook. Each ornament is approximately round and approximately 2” – 3” in diameter.
- Painted: Our painted ornaments are made from the bottoms of bottles which are removed, flattened in a kiln, drilled to make a hole, and then hand painted with a unique design. The glass comes in several colors. Each ornament is finished with a beaded hook. Each ornament is approximately round and approximately 3” – 4” in diameter.
- Fused: Our fused ornaments are made from pieces of recycled glass that are cut and shaped. Some designs utilize several pieces of cut and shaped glass. The pieces of glass are then melted in a kiln and drilled to make a hole. Some styles are then painted while others are decorated with bits of colored glass and fused again in the kiln to resemble sugar cookies. Each ornament is finished with a beaded hook and the size varies depending upon style and design.
